Job Description

OVERALL PURPOSE/FUNCTION OF COMPLIANCE ANALYST:                                                       

The Compliance Analyst will serve the entire business as assurance for abiding to Customer and Quality requirements. By working directly with the Quality Assurance Manager and indirectly with all other departments, the Compliance Analyst will correlate all active documentation, processes, and procedures to current and relevant conditions.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF COMPLIANCE ANALYST:

  1. Maintaining filing systems – manually and digitally.
  2. Compiling records of office activities.
  3. Transcribes crucial meetings and distributes to proper correspondence.
  4. Checking and distributing documents and correspondence.
  5. Reviewing files and records for accuracy.
  6. Typing documents and correspondence.
  7. Checking and entering data, maintaining databases, and coordinating workflow.
  8. Research, compile and analyze data for special personnel projects and reports.
  9. Adapts data, documentation, and products for professionally fulfilling audits and inspections.
  10. Perform a variety of general office support duties; make copies; maintain calendar of activities, meetings, and various events for assigned staff; process mail; maintain inventory.
  11. Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS OF COMPLIANCE ANALYST:

Education and/or Experience

  • GED/High School Diploma (Required)
  • Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred)
  • Training in Lean manufacturing principles and Kaizen facilitation (Not Required)

Knowledge:

  1. Office procedures, methods, and equipment including computers and applicable software applications such as word processing, spreadsheets, and databases. Comfortable creating and utilizing spreadsheets to review and improve data for business.  
  2. Exceptional multi-tasking and organizational skills
  3. Methods and techniques for basic report preparation and writing.
  4. Methods and techniques for record keeping and filing.
  5. Transcription techniques for coverage of meetings.
  6. Distinguished knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Sharepoint, PowerApps, etc.
  7. MUST HAVE … Microsoft office skills and be able to work with data

Ability/Skills for Compliance Analyst:

  1. Perform a variety of office support and clerical duties and activities of a general department.
  2. Exercise good judgment and maintain confidentiality in maintaining critical and sensitive information, records, and reports.
  3. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  4. Multitasking and balancing several tasks in accordance to deadlines.
  5. Work under steady pressure with frequent interruptions and a high degree of employee contact by phone or in person.
  6. Coordinate activities and meet critical deadlines.
  7. Understand and follow instructions.
  8. Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
  9. Maintains a professional appearance and relationship with Customers, Inspectors, and Auditors.
  10. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs / stand for 8-12 hours / work on our production line.

 

Work Environment / Physical Demands of Compliance Analyst

  • Fast-paced office setting
  • Work is performed primarily in a standard office environment with extensive employee contact and frequent interruptions.
  • Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; and to verbally communicate to exchange information.
