Job Description


A forklift operator plays a crucial role in material handling and warehouse operations. 
Job Title: Forklift Operator – Manufacturing Job Summary:
The forklift operator is responsible for safely operating a forklift to transport materials, goods, and equipment within the facility. This role ensures efficient movement of inventory, supports production processes, and maintains a clean and organized workspace.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials within the facility.
  • Inspect and maintain forklifts, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and damage to property.
  • Assist with inventory management by tracking shipments and organizing storage areas.
  • Communicate with supervisors and team members to coordinate material movement.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
  • Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain one.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety guidelines.
  • Physical stamina to lift and move heavy materials.
