Forklift Operator - 2nd Shift

Job Summary: The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating forklifts to move, load, unload, and stack products and materials within a warehouse. The role ensures efficient handling of goods to maintain stock organization, support order fulfillment, and ensure a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate forklifts to transport products and materials to designated areas in the warehouse.

  • Load and unload shipments, ensuring products are handled with care and stored correctly.

  • Perform inventory counts and assist in managing stock levels, including conducting regular checks on stored products.

  • Stack and organize products on pallets or in shelves to maximize space and facilitate easy access.

  • Assist in preparing products for shipping by following company processes and standards.

  • Inspect forklifts daily, reporting any issues to the warehouse manager or supervisor to ensure equipment is functioning properly.

  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, including ensuring walkways and aisles are clear and accessible.

  • Follow all safety regulations and company guidelines for material handling, equipment operation, and accident prevention.

  • Communicate effectively with warehouse team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.

  • Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.

Physical Requirements:

  • Standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods.

  • Repetitive use of hands for handling equipment and materials.
