Help Desk Support Specialist

Location: Paducah, KY
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Pay: $15 - $20 per hour (based on experience)

We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Help Desk Support Specialist to join our team. This entry-level role focuses on providing front-line technical support to customers, assisting with basic troubleshooting, and ensuring excellent customer service. It’s an ideal position for someone who is comfortable with computers, eager to learn, and enjoys helping others solve problems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to customer inquiries via phone or in person, providing basic technical support.
• Troubleshoot common hardware and software issues under supervision.
• Assist with resetting passwords, updating user profiles, and basic system configurations.
• Document reported issues and escalate complex problems to senior technicians.
• Provide guidance to customers on using Microsoft Suite, Windows 10/11, and other software.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while addressing customer concerns.

Requirements:

• Familiarity with basic computer operations (Microsoft Suite, Windows 10/11).
• Good communication skills, with the ability to explain simple technical concepts clearly.
• A strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills on the job.
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities.
