Concrete Foreman Location: Calvert City, KY Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour (based on experience) Expected Hours: 40–50 per week Schedule: Day shift
Overview:
A reputable contractor in the Calvert City area is seeking a skilled Concrete Foreman to oversee crews and ensure timely, efficient execution of concrete projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in concrete work, strong leadership abilities, and a proven track record managing commercial or industrial job sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute project work plans
Review project details and identify any challenges or efficiencies
Maintain daily logs and prepare teams for success
Coordinate materials, tools, equipment, and layout needs
Track and manage timesheets, delivery tickets, and sign-in/sign-out logs
Promote and maintain a safe work environment
Communicate project updates clearly to relevant parties
Participate in job-specific training and certifications
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in the concrete industry
Strong understanding of layout, paving, forming, and finishing
Previous experience supervising crews on commercial or industrial sites
Familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Organized, proactive communicator, and safety-focused
Self-performance experience required
Bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering preferred but not required
