3rd  shift QC Auditor – Measurement Tools & CMM Operations
Job Summary:
The QC Auditor is responsible for ensuring product quality through precise inspection, auditing, and documentation of manufactured components. This role focuses heavily on the use of QC measurement tools—including Calipers, Micrometers, Height Gauges, and advanced CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) operations—to verify conformance with engineering drawings, specifications, and standards.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform in-process and final inspections on parts, assemblies, and finished goods using a variety of precision measurement tools.

  • Operate and program CMM equipment to conduct accurate dimensional inspections.

  • Audit production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.

  • Record, analyze, and report inspection results; escalate non-conformances to appropriate departments.

  • Maintain calibration and proper handling of all measurement tools and equipment.

  • Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues.

  • Review and interpret technical drawings, GD&T, and specifications.

  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to improve processes and reduce defects.

  • Ensure compliance with ISO and internal quality system requirements.
