Overview:
Local manufacturing company is seeking a reliable Welder/Fabricator to assist with the production of heavy-duty steel components. Ideal candidates will have experience with MIG or stick welding, the ability to read blueprints, and a strong mechanical aptitude. Job Duties:
Weld and fabricate steel components using MIG and/or stick processes
Interpret blueprints and follow weld symbols and measurements accurately
Use basic fabrication tools such as grinders, saws, and cutting torches
Assemble and position parts according to specifications
Maintain quality standards and follow shop safety protocols
Perform general labor tasks as needed within the production area
Requirements:
Prior experience welding in a manufacturing or industrial setting
Ability to read tape measures and basic shop drawings
Comfortable working in a hands-on, physically active role
Willingness to work in a team environment and take direction
Must be dependable and able to maintain consistent attendance
