Assistant Labor
Location: Paducah, KY
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Occasional Saturdays)
Pay Rate: $16 – $17/hour
Requirements: Drug Screen & Background Check

Position Overview:
We are seeking a hardworking, reliable individual to assist with monument setting and maintenance work. This is a full-time role that involves physical labor, operating machinery, and working both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be physically fit, and demonstrate a high attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the setting of monuments and perform related maintenance tasks.

  • Digging with shovels and other hand tools as needed.

  • Pour concrete (training provided).

  • Lift and carry materials weighing up to 100 lbs.

  • Operate various machinery and tools (training provided if necessary).

  • Perform mechanical maintenance, plumbing, and basic electrical work (preferred but not required).

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

  • Follow detailed instructions and ensure accuracy in monument placement and finishing.

  • Work outdoors and indoors as required.

  • Remain focused and productive with no unauthorized phone usage during work hours.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience with construction, landscaping, or general labor.

  • Basic mechanical aptitude.

  • Familiarity with hand tools and small machinery.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • "Go-getter" attitude with strong initiative and reliability.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds regularly.

  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including digging, lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.

  • Must be comfortable working in various outdoor weather conditions.
