Handle food and non-food products in a manufacturing environment.
Prepare, process, package, label, and palletize products.
Load and unload production equipment.
Assist with operation of production and packaging equipment as trained.
Clean and sanitize production equipment, utensils, tools, and work areas according to company procedures.
Maintain clean and organized workstations throughout the shift.
Follow written work instructions, production records, and sanitation procedures.
Report equipment issues, product concerns, or food safety concerns to supervision.
Assist with inventory movement and material handling as needed.
Perform other production-related duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements for Production Operators:
Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive motions.
Ability to work in varying temperature environments, including refrigerated and freezer areas when required.
PPE provided: Lab coat, Hairnet, Beard cover (when applicable), Disposable gloves and safety glasses or other required eye protection.
Preferred Qualifications:
General math skills for counting, weighing, measuring and recording production information.
Good organizational skills.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Dependable attendance and punctuality.
Willingness to learn new processes and responsibilities.
Manufacturing or food production experience is helpful but not required.
