Overview for Quality Supervisor: (Full-Time, Long-Term, Career Position)
The Quality Supervisor oversees, interacts with, and supports the Quality Technicians in day-to-day inspections, testing, audits, quality reporting, handling of nonconforming product, problem-solving and decision-making to ensure all products are of acceptable quality to satisfy the intended needs of customers. 

Duties for Quality Supervisor:

• Oversee Quality Technicians to ensure all duties and tasks are completed, and records are maintained accurately during each shift.
• Be proficient in the duties and responsibilities of the Quality Technicians, and provide technical support and coverage as needed.
• Maintain work schedules to support production, approve timecards and approve time off.
• Ensure test equipment and measuring devices are verified and calibrated as scheduled.
• Investigate product or process nonconformances and communicate them to Production Supervision and next level Management as needed.

Skills for Quality Supervisor:

• A minimum of five years of quality assurance or technical work experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
• Strong leadership skills and experience supervising a team are required.
• Requires attention to detail, analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Requires planning and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks on multiple products.
• Strong written and oral communication skills are required.
