A Murray, KY manufacturing Facility is seeing an experienced Quality Assurance Inspector, full-time position. 

Shift/ Hours for Quality Assurance Technician:

• 3rd Shift position, Full-Time
• Monday-Friday evening, 11:45pm-8am

Duties/Responsibilities for Quality Assurance Inspector:

• Visually inspects parts looking for defects
• Inspects parts using equipment such as gauges, calipers, micrometers
• Tests parts using equipment such as drop test, hot tank
• Measures parts and calculates average measurements
• Reworks plastic parts using hand tools such as knives and scrapers
• Records inspection data
• Performs daily quality audits in the Shop Floor Monitoring System
• Assist in the performance of internal/external audits
• Performing work as assigned by Quality Manager/Engineer/Plant Manager
• Trains Machine Attendant/Finishers on job specific work instructions
• Assure attendants/finishers are aware of quality alerts
• Effective response to questions from team members and management
• Assists workers in resolving problems
• Demonstrate professional conduct, be quality driven with an attention to detail
• Recommends measures to improve quality of product
• Using computers and computer systems to process information
• Other duties as required

Pay for this position will be $20/hr.

Requirements/Experience for Quality Assurance Inspector

• At least one year of experience in warehouse & plastics/molding. Blow molding a plus
• Must Pass a background check & drug screen! 
• Must be able to work weekends and off shifts
• Excellent communication skills.
• An ability to persuasively present information both orally and in writing and an ability to make presentations to executive team members as well as to key contacts at major customer.
• Bilingual Spanish a plus.
• High level of self-motivation, self-confidence, and enthusiasm for operations
