Duties and Responsibilities of Quality Assurance (QA) Supervisor: (including, but not limited to)

• Supervise and direct quality technicians, ensuring good manufacturing/production practices and other quality-related policies
• Identify, solve, and prevent issues impacting production/manufacturing quality
• Oversee day-to-day operations, disciplinary actions, job assignments and procedures
• Implementation of guidelines, including safety and PPE
• Review records to verify compliance
• Cross functional capabilities of all job tasks in Quality department, in lieu of absences
• Evaluate materials, components, labels and finished products to ensure compliance
• Assist in coordination of testing results involving finished product, raw material, packaging, production
• Assist in implementation of policies, procedures, quality systems, training and programs
• Identify areas for improvement and present solution to Quality Assurance Department Manager
• Schedule, attend, participate in daily, weekly, and monthly meetings
• Research and collaboration with multiple departments in a production environment
• Participate in all internal and customer audits/inspections that could result in corrective action responses

• Microsoft Office
• Quality Control or related experience
• Thrive in a fast-paced work environment
• Must be able to lift 50lbs
• Position does require standing for long hours

This is a long-term term Quality Assurance (QA) Supervisor position, not intended to be temporary.  This is a great growth opportunity for the right candidate.  Brand New State of the Art Machinery and Production Processes.  

The Quality Assurance (QA) Supervisor position is day-shift, paying $18/hr,  and will likely include Overtime opportunities.
