Job Description


Murray is looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Quality Control Technician to join our 3rd shift team. This role is essential in ensuring the quality and consistency of our parts and components through inspections, testing, and documentation. If you have an eye for detail and take pride in keeping standards high, this is a great opportunity for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect parts and components during and after production to ensure they meet company and customer standards

  • Perform dimensional and visual inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other tools

  • Record and document inspection results clearly and accurately

  • Communicate any non-conformances or issues to supervisors and appropriate team members

  • Support production and engineering teams by identifying trends or quality concerns

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the QC area

  • Follow all safety protocols and company procedures

  • Perform audits as needed

  • May assist with training or onboarding new team members in QC procedures

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Previous quality control or manufacturing experience preferred

  • Comfortable using measurement tools and basic computer software

  • Good communication skills and strong attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

  • Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs
