Job Description

Job Title: Receptionist
Days & Hours: M-F; 7a-4p or 9a-6p
Hourly Pay Rate:  $17/hr.
Location: Paducah, KY

Job Summary for Receptionist:
We are a Paducah law firm that enjoys helping people who are injured in motor vehicle accidents, have work injuries, or who are seeking Social Security Disability benefits.  We value our staff and enjoy a close, collaborative working environment.  We enjoy working together, and actively look for opportunities to have an office lunch, whether that be for a birthday or at the conclusion of a big case.
Key Responsibilities for Receptionist:
  • Greet visitors and clients warmly, creating a professional and welcoming first impression
  • Manage incoming calls, direct inquiries appropriately, and take detailed messages
  • Schedule appointments and maintain the firm’s calendar with accuracy
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, copying, and data entry
  • Maintain a tidy and organized reception area
  • Support the team with light clerical duties as needed
  • Coordinate office communications and ensure all visitors are assisted promptly

Qualifications for Receptionist:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional phone etiquette
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Prior reception or administrative experience preferred but not required
