Safety Consultant / Professional

A Safety Consultant / Professional is an “all-things safety” subject matter expert.

They must have knowledge of and experience with OSHA regulations, both 29 CFR 1910 General Industry and 29 CFR 1926 Construction, in order to represent CSC’s wide variety of clients.

Must be able to provide sound professional advice quickly and accurately regarding safety compliance.

Responsibilities and duties of a CSC Safety Consultant include but are not limited to:

• Prepare and conduct safety training classes for client employees (OSHA 10/30-hour, CPR/AED/FA, BBP, Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (aerial lifts), Forklift, Confined Space, Excavation & Trenching, HazCom, PPE, and Scaffolding just to name a few).

• Conduct an accident investigation and navigate the work comp process.

• Perform drug testing both instant and collection.

• Complete on-line safety pre-qualification's.

• Represent clients during an OSHA inspection.

• Conduct safety inspections.

• Complete/Perform a Job Safety Analysis / Assessment

     Bachelor of Science in Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) from an accredited University.

    Masters in OSH.

    OSHA 10 and/or 30 in either Construction and/or General Industry (Trainer)

    Certified Safety Professional (CSP)

    Occupational Health and Safety Technologist (OHST)

    Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST)

    Certified Safety and Health Manager (CSHM)

    First Aid and CPR trained from an accredited source (NSC, ARC, or AHA)
