A Graves County Manufacturing Facility is seeking a talented Technical Writer to join their Documentation team. The Technical Writer will play a crucial role in creating clear and concise technical documentation for our products. Reporting to the Quality Manager, this position requires strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
**DUTIES:**
The Technical Writer will be responsible for:
- Collaborating with subject matter experts to create and update technical documentation.
- Researching and gathering information from various sources to produce high-quality content.
- Utilizing tools such as Visio and Word processing software to enhance documentation.
- Proofreading and editing documents to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Communicating complex technical information in a clear and understandable manner.
- Supporting the team in maintaining documentation standards and guidelines.
**QUALIFICATIONS:**
*Education and Experience:*
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, or related field (Preferred).
- Previous experience in technical writing or a related field (Required).
*Skills:*
- Proficiency in technical writing principles.
- Strong research skills.
- Experience with Visio for creating visual aids.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in Word processing software.
- Attention to detail for proofreading and editing tasks.
