  • Location: Paducah, KY
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Pay: $20.00/hour
  • Paid holidays (follows Kentucky state holiday schedule)
Company Overview:
We are a trusted staffing agency hiring on behalf of a valued client in the public workforce development sector. We’re seeking a motivated and compassionate WIOA Career Coach to join a local team, serving communities across the Purchase/Pennyrile region.
Position Summary:
As a WIOA Career Coach, you’ll provide personalized case management to individuals enrolled in Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act (WIOA) programs. You’ll help clients prepare for employment or training through skills assessments, eligibility verification, orientation sessions, and ongoing support. This role is essential in empowering job seekers to reach their education and career goals.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Guide customers through self-service and digital job search tools at the Career Center
  • Determine WIOA eligibility and complete required assessments and documentation in the KEE Suite system
  • Conduct customer orientations on topics such as goal setting, communication, budgeting, and time management
  • Collaborate with clients to create training or employment goals, including referrals to Adult Education when needed
  • Assist with job applications, interview prep, and teach workshops
  • Manage training approval processes and travel reimbursements
  • Maintain accurate electronic case records and ensure timely upload of documentation
  • Travel within the local workforce area to deliver services as needed
  • Support rapid response events, job fairs, and partner programs
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree required (Social Work, Counseling, Human Services, or related field preferred)
Experience:
  • 1–2 years of case management, counseling, or workforce development experience
  • Valid driver’s license required
Skills:
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Organizational and time management excellence
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Proficiency in analyzing technical data and preparing reports
  • Familiarity with workforce development programs and regulations
  • Comfort with technology and electronic records systems
  • Professionalism and flexibility in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to travel for outreach and service delivery
Compensation & Benefits:
  • $20/hour
  • Paid state holidays (follows the Kentucky State Holiday schedule)
  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM schedule
  • Meaningful work helping people build a better future
