Position Summary:
The Warehouse Assistant supports the daily receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations for Doc Popcorn and Dippin’ Dots POP & Franchisee Marketing. This role focuses on the physical execution of product receipt, storage, value-adding services, and dispatch. The goal is to maintain high productivity and ensure all warehouse processes run smoothly, promptly, and in compliance with safety standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Strategically execute warehouse duties in compliance with Doc Popcorn’s, Dippin Dots, and J&J Snack Foods policies and vision.
· Assist in the daily receiving, storage, and distribution of a wide variety of products in compliance with company policies.
· Perform physical stock counts and assist with stock control to ensure accuracy within accounting and software systems.
· Prepare and process outgoing orders, including coordinating LTL shipments and handling necessary paperwork.
· Maintain high standards of health, safety, hygiene, and security within the warehouse environment at all times.
· Provide support to the franchise system regarding warehouse-related topics and order fulfillment.
· Adhere to all warehousing, handling, and shipping legislation requirements.
· Temporarily maintain operational continuity during times there is a planned or unexpected absence from the Warehouse Manager.
· Provide flexible operational support across departments to meet shifting seasonal demands.

· Proven warehouse management experience
· Hands-on experience with warehouse management procedures and best practices.
· Proficiency with warehouse management software and databases.
· Excellent people skills to work effectively with the franchise community and internal teams.
