Warehouse Inventory Clerk (2nd Shift, $17/hr)

Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY: As an Warehouse Inventory Clerk you will assist with and perform the receiving logistical functions of Shipping/Receiving.  You will be required to comply with all plant audits and accounting requirements for receiving all plant materials into the plant.  You will be responsible for learning and executing all receiving and inventory processes daily, as well as complete other tasks assigned by the Warehouse Manager.
    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:  Perform all receiving tasks safely, send out email communications, share receiving and material information in a meeting setting, track and monitor spreadsheets, learn the receiving and inventory systems, obtain pallet lift and forklift certifications once employed, and understand warehouse and material management processes.

COMPETENCIES: Mathematical skills, computer/software systems, organizational and multitasking skills, process controls concepts, presentation skills, mobile equipment operation experiences, warehouse experience/skills


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Required Education:  

Highschool Diploma or GED, experience in purchasing, supply chain management, warehouse, and or business administration a plus.
 Required Experience:
•        Familiarity with material handling and or plant manufacturing processes.
•        General computer software system and or control panel knowledge.
•        Ability to gather and analyze data and to work with figures
•        Solid judgement along with decision making skills
  • Pallet Jack and Forklift experience preferred.
