Job Title: Construction Laborer – Copper Cable Processing (Temporary)

Location: Calvert City, KY
Duration: 4–6 months
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Description:
We’re currently seeking two Construction Laborers for a temporary assignment within our Construction Department. This role will involve operating handheld, battery-powered cable cutters and assisting with the processing of electrical cables using a copper granulating machine, which separates copper from its insulation.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate handheld cable-cutting tools

  • Feed and monitor materials through a copper granulating machine

  • Follow all required safety procedures, including JSA completion and safety training

  • Wear required PPE at all times (eye protection, ear protection, and gloves)

  • Assist with general labor tasks as needed within the department

Preferred Experience & Traits:

  • Forklift experience (preferred but not required – training provided)

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly

  • Comfortable standing and working on your feet for extended periods

  • Reliable, safety-conscious, and eager to learn
